4Motion Training & Development

4Motion is passionate about sharing their experience and knowledge with young people and schools. We thrive on supporting young people through their education, delivering youth training and courses that enrich prospects and opportunities, and enjoy working teachers to support their personal development. Take a look at what we offer through our Training & Development programmes below.

Teacher Training

4Motion delivers INSET training for primary and secondary school teachers, specialising in the following areas:

  • Creative Curriculum: Learn how to bring your SOW (scheme of work) to life through play, dance and creative movement.

  • Yoga Stories: Learn how to use yoga to develop creative thinking, literacy skills and confidence in the classroom.

  • Yoga & Mindfulness: A holistic course to support the physical and mental wellbeing of student, teachers and families.

GCSE Dance

4Motion has delivered GCSE Dance since 2010 at Windsor Boys’ School, Baylis Court Girls School, and in partnership with Windsor Girls School and Charters School in Ascot. We deliver the GCSE in partnership with P.E departments or run the course independently, supporting students through each module, assessment and exam.

Dance Leadership Course

4Motion has delivered this nationally recognised course, accredited through Sports Leaders, for over 10 years. 4Motion has delivered this course in special education schools, working with year 10 students for one year to support them to gain this qualification. Our teachers have also delivered this course over a 2-week period.

Arts Award

4Motion has designed and adapted the Arts Award Discovery course to be delivered online, working with young people with learning disabilities or those who enjoy the arts and learning at a different pace to school. The 4-week course is an introduction to the nationally recognised Arts Award, called ‘Discovery’.

The aim of this course is to encourage young people to engage in the arts, learn about a variety of art forms, and use their chosen art form (i.e. dance, photography) to create something (i.e. learn a dance, take a photo). The course is interactive, so our teachers encourage the young people to share their ideas, show their drawings/sketches and work together as a team. 4Motion also delivers the Bronze and Silver Arts Award course for young people in and outside of school.

If you have a term theme or classroom topic you want to bring to life through movement or wish to introduce yoga and wellbeing to your school environment, get in touch. We would love to support your students and staff to make learning fun.
